What makes us different
When a company is small, or new, that company’s image is usually a reflection of the principles and ideals possessed by its founding leaders. Hart’s image in the industry is widely known. Hart has consistently been synonymous with Honesty, Quality, and Competence. To enhance those basic original ideals, and to insure their continuity as a company grows, it is important that each individual be able to return to a common touchstone of guiding principles. Image and Reputation are fragile qualities. They can, on occasion, be tarnished unfairly. However, in the final analysis, a company’s image eventually will be a true reflection of the collective efforts of its people. No amount of talking or selling can overcome extended poor performance. Likewise, lesser people could not, by themselves, cause the decline of a great company.
LEADERSHIP
David Rampone
President, Hart Engineering Corporation
David graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1978. That same year, he joined Hart as a project manager. In 1984, David was named Vice President of General Construction Operations. In April of 1992, he was named Executive Vice President, and became President in 1994.
In addition to overseeing the day-to-day management, David is a Management Trustee of the RI Carpenters Union Fund, UA Local 51 Pension Fund and LIUNA Tri-Funds, an AGC National Life Director, President of the RI AGC, Member of AGC National Union Contractors Committee, Founding Member of BuildRI, Chairman RIAGC labor relations division and Miriam Hospital Foundation Trustee.
Paul Rampone, PE
President, Hart Design Group
Paul holds both Master and Bachelor Degrees in Science Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He joined Hart in 1984 to head the Quality Control Department, and to secure ASME and National Board Certification. Paul was named President and Director of Operations of Hart Design Group in 1991.
Paul is a member of several National Code and Standards Committees. He is a Registered Professional Engineer, Rhode Island, a member of the RI Society of Professional Engineers and American Institute of Plant Engineers, a Board Member of the New England Chapter National Certified Pipe Welding Bureau and a Committee Member of ASME B31.3 Chemical Plant and Petroleum Refinery Piping, ASME B31.9 Building Services Piping, ASME B31 and ASMA Biotechnical Design.
