East Providence Terminal, Gasoline and Ethanol Conversion Project

Sprague (East Providence, RI)

Founded in 1870, Sprague is passionate about customer success. In 2017, they committed $8 million to convert half of their East Providence Terminal’s storage capacity to gasoline and ethanol service in order to support a large multi-national supplier operating an extensive proprietary branded distribution business.

Hart’s $2.4 million contract included the installation of all necessary petroleum process piping to facilitate the changeover, while maintaining a fully operational facility.  Additionally, Hart designed and fabricated new steel pipe racks and oversaw the construction of a new switch gear building.

Hart proudly recorded over 13,000 man hours on the project, with zero injuries.
