CAD Designer

Immediate opening for a talented entry level Design/Drafter to join Rhode Island’s largest multi‐disciplined Engineering‐Architectural firm serving the Biotech and Pharmaceutical markets. Position will report to the CAD Manager and perform work in multiple disciplines. Primarily, Process Engineering (P&ID editing), Mechanical Engineering (Building Design) and Architectural Design (both Plans and 3D models).  Must be flexible to support other disciplines. Candidate should demonstrate strong AutoCAD skills, knowledge of Revit a plus. This is a unique opportunity to learn a high demand skill‐set in a rapidly growing industry.

Additional Keys:

• Software Experience: Individual must be proficient in AutoCAD (latest revision), Paperspace, Drawing Layout and Plotting.
• Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Rendering Software, a plus.
• Building Design Experience: The ability to read drawings and institutional experience in drawing layout.
• Education/Experience: Minimum, Associates degree in the Architectural, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry. Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Practical work experience always considered.
• Professional demeanor, capacity to adapt and learn quickly, good communication skills are important, and the ability to follow established standards and procedures.
